Sergiu Ciochina (b. 2001, Moldova) is an artist based in Paris. He graduated from the College of Arts in Moldova in 2021 and works across landscape and figurative painting.

His practice explores the relationship between architecture, environment, and the human presence within space, focusing on how light and shadow transform both places and figures. Rather than documenting reality, Ciochina reconstructs it—combining observation, memory, and emotional perception into compositions that move between representation and re-imagining.

Working both en plein air and in the studio, his process is intuitive and situational, often beginning with fragments of everyday life and evolving into spatial narratives shaped by atmosphere and rhythm.
