Sergiu Ciochina, a professional painter based in Paris, France, was born in Moldova in 2001 and graduated from the Chisinau College of Arts in 2021. With a deep appreciation for the beauty of Europe beyond its iconic landmarks, Ciochină finds inspiration in the interplay of colors, light, and shadows. His paintings transform everyday scenes into captivating landscapes that blend reality with imagination, offering viewers a unique perspective on the world.

Sergiu’s creative process is intuitive and shaped by his surroundings. “Inspiration often comes unexpectedly, on my way home, heading to the studio, while traveling, or during nighttime walks,” he explains. “A painting might draw from a few buildings or elements, but sometimes I reimagine a place entirely, creating contrasts with reality that reflect how I perceive it. People appreciate that perspective.”

Through his work, explores the harmony between nature and architecture, capturing the essence of light and shadow to bring depth and vibrancy to his compositions. His journey highlights the transformative power of art, encouraging creatives to embrace their unique vision and combine diverse elements to create pieces that resonate deeply with audiences.
