A rigid support with a thickness of 3 mm, created in France specifically for paintings, made from reconstituted white wood.
Properties: Durable, lightweight, long-lasting, resistant to humidity, high temperatures, and handling. Easy to frame and hang, safe for storage, shipping, and packaging.
Canvas Support
Linen canvas, 400-560 g/m², made in France, coated with six layers of gesso to isolate the canvas from oil.
Properties: Durable, can be hung without a frame, can be transported/stored in a tube or stretched on a wooden stretcher. Resistant to temperature changes, requires care every few years (re-stretching, checking the canvas condition).
Reproductions on Paper
Professional-grade paper with a guaranteed preservation of colors and pigments for 60–150 years.
Note: Requires framing under glass. Most reproductions have white borders, making the subject smaller than the sheet size to maintain the composition and integrity of the artwork when using a passepartout or a frame with wide edges.
